Can I book an appointment over the phone?

It’s not that you can’t book an appointment over the phone, it’s that to make an appointment we need to know who you want to do the tattoo and how long it’s going to take us to do it so that we can schedule the right amount of time for you. We also need a deposit. We take deposits to make sure that we’re not wasting our time preparing for your appointment which can be substantial. If you’re local it’s easier for us and for you if you just stop by for a consultation, which you can set up over the phone. If you’re from out of town we can work with you over the phone or by email just contact the artist that you want to have do your tattoo through their contact section and then you’ll ultimately have to leave a deposit over the phone.

Do you guys take walk-ins?

We absolutely do, when we have time. One or more of us will have time throughout any given day to take walk-ins. While we can’t necessarily hold a spot for you from a phone call, you can always call ahead to see how busy we are. 352-395-6789

Do you guys do piercings or sell jewelry?

Nope. We recommend Ocala Tattoo in Ocala on state road 200- consummate professionals.    352-671-2877

Do you guys tattoo minors?

While it is legal in the state of Florida to tattoo a minor with parental consent it’s our policy to NOT tattoo minors.

Can I bring in my own design?

Definitely! Just remember that not every image will make a good tattoo, but almost every idea can be made into a good tattoo. Bring in all of your ideas/pictures and have an open mind and one of our tattooers will work with you.

Why can’t my kids come in with me when I get my tattoo?

If you’re just stopping by to check us out for a few minutes your well behaved, supervised children are welcome to come in with you. But Anthem is a small place with a lot of people trying to concentrate and because of that even a happy well behaved child can become a distraction. Kids are curious too and if they were to wonder off the beaten path they could find things like bio-waste, caustic disinfectants or expensive, sensitive equipment among other things. We love kids, some of us have kids but kids don’t fit in to our vibe at the shop.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

Taking care of your tattoo is easy and your artist will go over it with you at your appointment to make sure you’re comfortable. Basically though, we recommend washing with antibacterial hand soap, hot water and your clean bare hand, letting the tattoo air dry for a few minutes and once it’s dry to the touch apply a small amount of moisturizer 3 times a day. We recommend vitamin A&D ointment for the first couple of days then switch to regular moisture cream. No direct sunlight on your tattoo for a month or so and don’t submerge it in water until it’s healed entirely! Every shop has a different recipe for care and we advise you to follow whatever the person who did the tattoo has told you to do.
