Little Mike

Man, when you're twelve years old nothing beats sittin' around with some friends, a bottle of mad dog, sewing needles and some ink. Then we graduated to the sweet Spaulding and Rogers start up kit and i have the scars to prove it. After my first apprenticeship at the age of 17 fizzled out, I did everything from dish washing to art school. Through all of the trials and tribulations, my heart still belonged to tattooing. Years later, with love and support from those closest to me, I decided to jump back in headfirst. With a desire to not be just another turd on the pile, i kept my eyes and ears open, my mouth shut, and my nose to the grindstone. I suppose in the end it all boils down to respect.

I came across an opportunity to tattoo alongside some old and dear friends who just so happened to be rock solid tattooers. I drove these poor guys to the brink of tears with my questions and concerns but god bless'em they hung in there. I have my sea legs on now and want to invite anyone who is in town to come and hang out with the family at Anthem. Tattooing is our life and Anthem is here to stay.
