Anthem Tattoo is located in a beautiful, historic house in the heart of downtown Gainesville, Florida in the Pleasant Street district. We strive to maintain respect for the history of tattooing while moving the craft forward with innovation and creativity for the art. Providing top quality tattooing in a comfortable and welcoming environment is our main priority.

Custom tattooing is our specialty and we will take the time and work with you to make
a design that is personal and unique to you. We provide a Safe, Clean and Sterile working environment.

APPRENTICESHIPS AND PIERCING
Anthem Tattoo is not offering apprenticeships at the moment.
Also, we do not offer any piercing services.

MINORS
The artists at Anthem Tattoo do NOT tattoo anyone under the age of 18. In our collective experience, tattooing minors, even with parental consent, causes more problems than it cures.
However, if you'd like to come in and have consultation and prepare for your first tattoo as your 18th birthday approaches, we'd be happy to work with you!

SHOP HOURS AND SCHEDULING
We are open 11am - 5pm and closed on Sundays and Tuesdays.

CONSULTATIONS
We generally require an in-person consultation appointment before booking the full tattoo appointment.
Consultations allow you to have one on one time with your artist to discuss your tattoo in detail and cover all of the essential parts to be sure that you are getting the best possible outcome for your permanent piece of personal art. When possible, we try our best to work with out of town clients through email, but the more in person attention we can give your idea, the better we can execute the design.

DEPOSITS, MINIMUMS and RATES
We require a deposit to make an appointment. This will be discussed with your artist during your consultation. This deposit will be subtracted from the final price or last session of the tattoo.
Anthem Tattoo has a shop minimum of $100 and a hourly rate of $175-200 (depending on the artist). Most single session tattoos can be priced out by the artist during the consultation.
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable

TIPPING
While tipping is NOT required, it is always appreciated!
CANCELING
Should you need to cancel or reschedule a future appointment we ask for a 24 hours notice, otherwise you forfeit your deposit.
